Washington D.C. – A Republican congressman has called for the removal of three Democratic representatives from their committee assignments, citing their recent behavior on the House floor as “childish” and inappropriate. The congressman emphasized that committee memberships are reserved for serious lawmakers, not those who engage in disruptive conduct.
“We teach our children that actions have consequences,” stated the congressman, adding, “If they want to act like children, they need to understand that their actions are going to have consequences.” He argued that the Democrats’ actions were particularly egregious during National Police Week.
The congressman, who serves on the House Budget Committee, also addressed the committee’s ongoing efforts to pass a significant budget bill. While the committee did not finalize the bill yesterday, he expressed confidence that it would be completed in the coming days. “We’re going to get this done,” he asserted, highlighting the bill’s aim to prevent tax increases on working Americans. He believes the bill will be passed by the house this week.
Looking ahead, the congressman announced his intention to run for Senate in the state of Georgia. He positioned himself as a staunch supporter of the former President’s “America First” policies and argued that Georgia voters deserve a senator who aligns with those values. He expressed confidence that Georgia remains a “red state” and that voters will elect a senator who supports the former President.
